THE LEARNING CENTER

The Learning Center is a resource program designed to support educational services for students who have been professionally diagnosed as needing an individualized learning environment.  The PCS program includes educational assessment, teaching and consulting services for students, their parents and teachers.

 Programs Offered

 Elementary:

(1)        Full-time Learning Center Program

• All academic instruction given                                               $10,700.00 per year**
• Music, Art, & P.E. with regular classes                                  $175.00 assessment fee*
• Six students maximum

 (2)        Part-time Learning Center Program                           

• Includes reading and Language Arts                                      $3100.00 per year**

      (English, Spelling, Phonics, Handwriting)                              $175.00 assessment fee*

• 2 hours day/5 days week
• Six students maximum

 (3)        Resource Room

• Two - ½ hr. sessions                                                                $35.00 per week**
• Two - 45 min. sessions                                                            $45.00 per week**
• Two - 1 hr. sessions                                                                 $60.00 per week**
• Students requiring remedial or                                               

      tutorial help in any subject

• Assessment available upon request
• Minimum nine weeks duration required                    
• Four students maximum                     

*Assessment Fee:  This is a one-time fee due September 1, 2009.

**Payments:  These payments are due on the first of each month.  Any account which is five days in arrears will be assessed a late payment charge of $50.00 and shall be notified that unless arrangements are made to become current by the end of the month, the child(ren) will not be permitted to continue school until the account is paid in full.  All costs listed are in addition to normal tuition payments for the student (except for Full-time Learning Center program).

Withdrawals:  If the student fails to complete the program year for any reason, the payment due for the month of withdrawal will be payable in full and will constitute the final payment.  (Example:  A student leaves the program on March 10, the March 1 payment is not refundable, and must be paid in full.) .
